Why Document Motherhood?
In June 2025, I welcomed my daughter into the world through a waterbirth at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
It was the most powerful, emotional, challenging, and transformative experience of my life.
Pregnancy changed me. Birth challenged me. Postpartum humbled me. Breastfeeding taught me resilience. Motherhood continues to show me strengths I never knew I had.
And through it all, I've come to realise just how extraordinary women truly are.
What we go through while growing, birthing, nourishing, and caring for our babies is nothing short of remarkable. Yet so much of this season passes in a blur. The tiny kicks. The anticipation of meeting your baby. The strength of labour. The first feed. The sleepy newborn cuddles. The way your family learns and grows together in those early days.
These moments deserve to be celebrated.
They deserve to be remembered.

Birth photography is about preserving one of the most transformative days of your life—the moments that often become a blur in the days and weeks that follow.
When you book a birth session, I reserve a two-week on-call window around your due date, ensuring I'm available whenever your baby decides it's time. Before birth, we'll connect via Zoom or in person to discuss your birth preferences, your support team, and how I can best serve you throughout the experience.
While I am there to document your story, I'm also there to support the space around it. Think of me as your "older sister energy"—refilling water bottles, grabbing snacks, adjusting a pillow, or helping create an environment where your partner can focus entirely on supporting you.
Using a documentary approach, I quietly capture labour, birth, first cuddles, tiny details, and the emotions that unfold in those first precious hours. Once your new family has settled into that golden postpartum bubble, I'll leave you to soak it all in.

Rather than heavily styled poses or elaborate setups, I focus on documenting real connection and genuine moments as they unfold.
I'll provide outfit guidance beforehand to help create a cohesive look while keeping the experience relaxed and effortless. Throughout the session, I capture the tiny details, family interactions, and everyday moments that tell the story of your baby's first days at home.
